There are a large number of current projects going on within ESS. Managers will come to this team for reports on these projects. Examples of day to day responsibilities include providing managers report figures on support analytics (activity). Is their department getting more requests? They will not only be providing financial numbers but provide the manager with information on trends. The financial numbers could be letting the manager know that they are in line with their spend, it could be they are over there budget but it could be caused by increased service volume.
Project includes all tasks and project performed for the following: Financial and Availability reporting, Management interfaces, AMTS support, RFI/RFP support, App Man email box support, SLA and POA support and mentoring.
The Enterprise Support Services (ESS) Process and Service team develops and delivers tools, resources and reporting for the ESS organization in support of application transition and production support, application availability, budget and vendor management, with a focus on process efficiency.
Under direct supervision, the Consultant - Production Support Analyst position in Process and Service will provide operational support to the Enterprise Support Services organization through development and delivery of solutions and reporting
An area they are looking for someone to focus is automating many or the reports and document systems they are currently using. An example would be automating the current repository where Service level agreements are stored.
