Bachelor Degree Preferred and/or 8 plus years experience in IT. IT process definition and / or improvement experience.
3-5 years project estimation, budgeting and scheduling experience with IT implementation projects
Expert knowledge of project management with strong time management skills.
Experience in an outsourcing, co-location, and/or managed hosting company.
? Thorough understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals (DNS, FTP, SSH), general networking technologies, network architecture and connectivity troubleshooting.
? Experience with server hardware builds, OS install, patching and maintenance.
? Experience with SAN/NAS technologies.
? Experience with VMware technology.
? Experience with various storage replication technologies.
? Knowledge of server systems design, RAID and disk subsystems, cluster management, troubleshooting, and hardware replacement.
? Thorough understanding of project management phases, techniques and tools.
? Self-starter having a history of initiating, leading and completing quality improvement projects.
? Must have the ability to effectively work in a team environment, as well as independently or as an individual contributor.
? Extensive project management knowledge of hardware, virtualization, data communication and networking concepts and technologies.
