| |
Protect information assets through the management, administration and monitoring of UNIX systems in support of security-focused initiatives. This position involves day-to-day communications with peer support groups required to maintain the UNIX server security environment. Provides technical consultation associated with operating systems and security tools. Defines systems software and/or hardware requirements and determines system specifications and/or customizations. Designs and documents tasks required for installations, configurations, upgrades and testing. Writes documentation for departmental procedures, product guides and release notes.
The successful candidate will have expert knowledge in planning and implementing changes with information security products and procedures and possess in-depth knowledge of the UNIX/Linux Operating System. The person must be detailed oriented and have excellent customer service/follow-up skills. Excellent communication and documentation skills and a strong work ethic are required. Must be able to work effectively, both independently and in a team environment. Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment, while efficiently prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities |
