Will be responsible for setting technology direction, strategy, policies, and guidelines for one or more technology activities (e.g Firewall, WAN application optimization) globally within the organization.
This role requires someone who is technically proficient in a wide range of network technologies, with emphasis on Cisco firewalls and Wide Area Optimization appliances.
This position is responsible for designing flexible and scalable solutions for the Network as well as providing Tier 3 Global Network support and must use discretion and judgment making technical decisions to resolve issues.
Network Skills (required and preferred):
VPN / Firewall Routing / Switching Load Balancer Cisco 2800 through 3900 series routers Nexus MPLS, EIGRP, OSPF, RIP, BGP, VRF, protocols etc Sonicwall
