| |
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in best practices, methods, and techniques for designing, building, testing, and operationalizing business intelligence, data integration, and data warehousing solutions
• Hands-on experience with a broad mix of business intelligence, advanced data visualization, and analytical tools (ex. OBIEE, IBM Cognos, Qlik, SAS, SPSS, R, etc.). Certification in one or more products preferred.
• Strong SQL/PL-SQL programming skills
• Hands-on experience with a broad mix of database platforms (ex. Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, DB2)
• ETL development experience using Informatica or Talend desired
• Understanding of the information management, data governance, MDM, and data quality market and best practices associated with tools implementation and operation
• Knowledge of data visualization and dashboard design best practices
• Understanding and working knowledge of Hadoop and big data processing. Experience with big data platforms (ex. Hortonworks, Cloudera, IBM Big Insights, etc.) helpful
