| |
Work with business users to analyze and streamline business processes, develop conceptual and functional requirements and evaluate current and target system
architectures to support them.
* Lead business analysis efforts that contribute to a holistic understanding of client business architecture and identify opportunities where technology can improve client and
operating agency performance.
* Employ structured modeling techniques and tools to describe business functions, processes, information, and technology designs.
* Develop and maintain timely, high quality documentation.
* Evaluate new software in line with current and future application and technology architecture plans.
* Assist less experienced analysts and other staff.
* Evaluate operating efficiency of software systems used by client.
* Review and contribute to the development and maintenance of functional test plans that adequately test against the defined requirements. Required skills and experience:
* Strong oral and written communications skills, particularly the ability to describe technical issues in non-technical terms.
* Advanced ability to conceptualize business requirements, including the ability to identify underlying principles and the appropriate data handling techniques required.
* Strong analytical skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills; ability to function as part of a team that might include end-users as well as other technical staff.
* Ability to take initiative, demonstrate flexibility, and good time management skills.
* Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously |
