ur client is looking for an Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) who will collaborate with a diverse group of quality test engineers, business analysts, designers, and developers to deliver robust software solutions that meet the needs of our clients. Ideal candidates have a strong quality assurance testing background with solid experience in test automation, including automated UI tests, automated web service tests, and unit tests. They will also have excellent knowledge of QA processes software development methods. This role will involve automated test development using both record/playback tests and manually scripted tests, black-box testing, some white-box testing, and hands-on development and review of unit tests written in C# using MSTest.
* Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and successfully advocate software quality processes and standards.
* Expertise in manual and automated testing of web applications and services developed on the .NET platform.
* Ability to succeed both on a team and as an individual contributor.
* Able to demonstrate strong analysis skills required to understand the applications being supported and to create test data, test plans, and test cases that ensure systems meet business needs.
* Experience, interest, and adaptability to working in a dynamic, iterative, Agile Scrum process.
* Commitment to collaborate with many different stakeholders, including developers, subject matter experts, support and operations personnel.
* Able to adapt to work on evolving organization demands and deliver results on schedule. |
