The DesktopEngineerprovidesstrategic direction, administration, and support for coreinfrastructure systemsincludinghardwareandsoftwareinventory, application deployment,aswellasconfiguration and security policies. Building and maintaining technical partnershipswith infrastructure and applications technical teams is expected and requires exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Required technical skills include a thorough understanding of Windows Desktop management best practices including experience with IBM BigFixor similar platforms. Strong candidates will have experience with Windows systems programming/automation (VBscript, PowerShell), Microsoft OS Imaging/deployment tools (MDT), as well as experience managing and supporting medium to large distributed Windows workstation environments.
