3 years of developing Java solutions using Cognos SDK for versions 8.4 and optionally V10 of Cognos.
* 3-4 years of experience working with Cognos products, V8.3 and up
* 5-7 years of Java programming experience
* Knowledge of Cognos Portal, Report Studio and Framework manager
* Experience designing Java client-server solutions
* Knowledge of web technologies and approaches to deploy applications on the web
* Experience designing and deploying JAVA application on the web; servlet, portlet,
* Commanding knowledge of XML, XSL, and SOAP
* Experience building XML documents in Java using DOM
* Knowledge of JBoss, Tomcat, WebSphere app server technologies
* Knowledge of SQL, JDBC
* Experience of integrating Cognos SDK apps with security solutions like Active Directory, LDAP repository is preferred.
