We have an immediate need for a WAN network engineer:
10 years experience as a WAN Network Engineer Minimal 6 years hands on Cisco configuration of the technologies listed below, while working in a large enterprise network Global experience preferred, but domestic experience in a geographical dispersed environment would be acceptable Strong working knowledge of BGP & EIGRP routing protocols as well as protocol redistribution - Configuration setup from scratch and troubleshooting these technologies in production environment Strong working knowledge of MPLS, Metro-E, Point to Point carrier technologies Technical knowledge of Multicast and QoS - Preferably have hands-on experience, but if they understand and know how to setup and troubleshoot, that should be sufficient Experience with 7x24 on-call and handling up to 20 service requests concurrently Must be able to handle pressure and work directly with our client Experience with stringent change control processes We use Service Center, and engineers need to able to plan efficiently Strong documentation ethics - The candidate will be asked to demonstrate their abilities via a routing simulator tool during the technical interview over web-ex. Its imperative that they are currently using BGP and EIGRP on a daily basis.
A CCIE is preferred, but a CCNP is a minimum, and technical college degree is highly desirable
