5+ years of general experience in Software Development.
• Excellent understanding of commonly used programming languages, and design patterns.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be willing to learn new technologies and processes as needed.
• Must be able to work effectively as part of a project team, foster team cooperation.
• Stays current with rapidly changing technology and applies it to business needs.
• Required skills: ASP.NET (Web Forms, MVC), JavaScript, .NET framework 1.1/2/3.5/4.0, VB, C#, HTML/CSS, XML, AJAX.
• Knowledge in some or all the following technologies, frameworks, or platforms is strongly desired: jQuery, Oracle 9i/10g/11g, SQL Server 2005/2008.
• Working experience with UI programming and UX Design is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2010 for source code and Work Item management, solution builds and deployment, and automation testing a plus.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in OOP, software design patterns and best practices.
• Experience in 3-tiered applications and/or SOA design and development is highly desired.
• Strong interpersonal skills - must be able to work effectively as part of a project/program team and foster team cooperation.
• Understanding of the Agile/Scrum project management process is helpful.
• Stays current with rapidly changing technology and applies it to business needs.
• Must be able to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.
