| |
Work under direction from the technical lead
• Responsible for writing J2EE compliant code utilizing standard IDE's
• Responsible for creating Graphical user interface utilizing GUI tools available on the project
• Responsible for monitoring ongoing operations and reporting on daily status and issues
• Responsible for writing PERL/ANT/Shell scripts for monitoring file processes
• Responsible for monitoring and responding to performance or other operations issues
• Participate in code reviews and ensure the code written complies with the company standards and policies
• Participate in meetings and discussions with Functional/Technical Leads to understand the requirements and work out a design
• Write Java/XML/PLSQL/SQL code to meet the requirements and maintain coding standards
Knowledge of HIPAA X12 transactions; 270/271, 834, 2776/277 is a must
• Mentor other Java developers in enhancing their skills
• Continue enhancing own Java/scripting skills on new practices, frameworks and standards.
