| |
The projects will focus on upgrading the current System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) environment, upgrading the current SharePoint farm architecture and version, and a companywide eRoom to SharePoint migration program. The project manager will work with existing application teams to ensure that platforms are successfully deployed, supported, and maintained over the long term.
• Work with project stakeholders to develop business cases, project charter and scope including goals & objectives, resource requirements, milestones and timelines.
• Apply system development life cycle methodology as appropriate including internal project controls such as issues logs, business approvals and go-live check list.
• Develop a comprehensive project plan consisting of milestones, detailed deliverables, resource estimates, and schedules for each major phase of the project.
• Identify, communicate, and manage project risks escalating to IT management and project sponsors as needed.
• Manage cross-functional project teams including business analysts, technical staff, QA resources, business users and external resources.
• Schedule and coordinate project status meetings highlighting accomplishments, plans and project challenges to project team members and management ensuring cross-functional communication and issue resolution
• Develop and execute go-live checklists and post go-live support plans
• Experience managing an SCCM installation/upgrade or similar desktop management technologies a HUGE plus
• Experience managing SharePoint farm upgrades and content migrations from enterprise platforms such as eRoom into SharePoint is a HUGE plus. |
