| |
The ArcSight Engineer will be responsible for various aspects of the deployment, maintenance and operations of the ArcSight security environment including Connector appliances, Logger appliances and the Enterprise Security Manager (ESM).
The candidate should have two to three years of direct experience working with ESM platform tuning, correlation, categorization and prioritization of events. Experience in developing content, such as filters and rules. The Engineer will also be responsible for onboarding of new data types and should have experience working with categorizers, parsers and FlexConnectors.
A background in vulnerability management and intrusion detection and prevention is strongly encouraged.
Job Requirements Include:
• Must possess operational, architect level experience in ArcSight ESM and Logger (2-7 years).
• Minimum of two (2) years experience working in an ArcSight operational environment with analysts or two (2) years of experience integrating ArcSight with 3rd party log and event management solutions.
• ArcSight certifications: ACSA, ACIA (are a plus)
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP network architecture and implementation is a must; ideal candidate will have worked within complex TCP/IP networks.
• System administration experience on any of the following platforms (e.g. Microsoft Windows, Linux, HP-UX, AIX, Sun Solaris, etc.).
• Excellent time management, reporting, and communication skills
