We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer with 4+ years’ experience in creating test plans and test cases for manual testing, automation and performance testing. The candidate should have strong verbal and written communication skills and be prepared to make an immediate impact within our QA team. The role will be 30% writing and executing test cases manually and 70% automation (QTP and Loadrunner) activities.
The candidate will have the following responsibilities:
Test planning:
Writing detailed test plans and test cases for functional testing.
Automation of test cases in QTP. Experience creating QTP test frameworks is required.
Create performance test plan and execute in Loadrunner.
Review and provide input on all project level documentation.
Create requirement/test case relationship (traceability).
Contribute to and assist in implementing improvements in test methods and strategies.
Extensive experience in Manual Testing and Automated Testing Experience and knowledge in UAT, functional testing, system testing, unit testing, database testing, regression testing and integration testing will be a plus Log, track, and validate resolution of identified defects.
Escalate quality concerns to management.
Skills Required:
Must have 3+ years developing testing frameworks and coding QTP, including data driven testing, reusable functions, error handling and recovery.
Must have 2+ years performance testing using Loadrunner Ability to work independently within a quickly changing environment with strict deadlines Strong SQL skills, Oracle and Sybase databases Knowledge of, .NET and Silverlight technologies Demonstrated leadership capability Strong analytical skills Ability to multi-task Strong attention to detail Proven communication and documentation skills Excellent organizational, troubleshooting and analytical skills required Knowledge of all aspects of the software development life cycle
