Description : |
| |
•Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
•7+ years Database administration experience in a 24x7 environment
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server; certification (MCDBA) preferred but not required
• In-depth database tuning and troubleshooting experience
• Solid experience in database clustering and SAN technologies
•Project management experience is a plus
• Knowledge of high availability configurations for MS SQL server deployments
• Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
• Hands-on knowledge of large scale database environments for multi-Terabyte datasets
• Experience working in a Data warehouse environment , with Microsoft BI stack such as SSIS and SSAS
•Oracle experience a plus
• Experience utilizing data modeling tools
• Software development experience with VB, COM, Java, and ASP a plus
