| |
The Junior System Engineer will share the responsibility for operational support issues and ad-hoc request processing.
- The Junior System Engineer will also serve as secondary support and in some cases primary support for the most critical and sensitive systems such as the Windows and UNIX servers (Hardware and OS), Virtualization, and to a lesser degree, automation through Scripting.
- The potential candidate should be willing to provide after-hours and weekend support when required
Application integration
- The Junior System Engineers will work with the application groups and other members of technical services locally and globally, to oversee the implementation and ongoing support of applications into the environment.
- The Junior System Engineers will ensure the systems installs according to company standards, request or draft necessary documentation, and provide sign-off that the systems will be stable and supportable.
