Individual & team oriented personality, must be flexible to work closely with other engineers, network and systems alike, to help determine best practices and solutions.
Desired Cert(s) & Experience
- CCNA (ICND1 & ICND2 acceptable)
- 2+ years working in large scale enterprise environments.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to demonstrate a solid working knowledge of Cisco route and switch technologies (ie. EIGRP, OSPF, HSRP, BGP, VLAN, Tunnel, VRF); LAN knowledge required, WAN experience desirable (ie. MPLS, VPLS); Security experience a plus (ie. firewalls, email/spam filters, IPS, etc).
- Familiarity with fiber and copper technologies including associated throughput capabilities based on specific hardware; VOIP technologies experience.
- Must have strong analytical skills, able to work in high profile enterprise environments (ie. Casinos, Hotels, Hospitals, Government facilities), legal licensing may be required |
