Our ecommerce client is currently building out a new team to oversee their homegrown ecommerce platform-
The Platform Engineering team is seeking a highly skilled Java engineer to work in an agile environment building key components of their eCommerce and mobile infrastructure.
Candidates will be working with Business Analysts, Architects and other Engineers. The Senior Java Engineer will be responsible for design and development of robust and scalable services that provide the foundation of our clients eCommerce sites including dedicated web-based services and integration with both internal and external systems.
The new Platform team will serve all capability (project) teams under the eCommerce organization. This role is more backend focused with domain skills. The team is made up of all engineers, currently 3-4. This candidate will be part of the growing team and its foundation.
Candidates will be developing new architectural features and innovation for the ecommerce sites reaching millions of consumers.
