Description: The main objective of this project is to develop front end software in VB to test flare and chaff dispensing systems which is used for aircraft protection from ground and air threats especially from guided missiles. Dispensing system is a microcontroller based system either pilot or RWR (radar warning receiver) activated. Aircraft protection will be achieved by misleading the missile through dispensing chaff and or payload modules The dispenser consists of a single system (dispenser assembly, payload module assembly, electronics module and dispenser control panel).The System provides effective survival countermeasure against radar guided Weapon systems. When a crew member of sights receives a radar warning, he will press a firing switch. The aircrafts power supply will immediately pulse the programmer selection of the electronics m0dule.To facilitate easy,efficient and fast testing of the system the virtual instruments(modulr measurement hardware, personal computer and communication ports) and VB software are used.
