Provide Sun/OS platform for products being developed on Sparc and 386i systems. Developed device drivers, system utilities, installation procedures & documentation, performance analysis, and resolved problems and provided feedback to Sun Microsystems. Developed CG parallel input/output driver for 386i, Centronics parallel output driver for Sun4c, disk/tape performance analysis, enhanced and resolved problems in format programs, and provided training to junior group members. Also developed a data transfer program (dt) for testing disks, tapes, & terminal devices, and enhanced system monitor program (top) for dynamic display of system statistics.
