In data preparation, a PL/SQL script was created for daily nightly processing. This script copied database objects needed for EIS processing from base tables in primary database to reporting tables in EIS database. EIS objects were updated based on costing logic. The modified database served as final data for user interfaces.
The interface provided drilldown, drillacross, roadmaps for screen navigation.
