ASIC Based ¡§AMBA AHB SLAVE FOR GENARAL PURPOS AHB INTERFACE¡¨
(Engineering Project) - : SoC designs use bus protocols for high
performance data transfer among the IP cores. These protocols
incorporate advanced features such as pipelining, burst and split
transfers. In particular, I developed a formal specification of
the AMBA AHB SLAVE protocol then employed model checking, BFM of
a master is used to verify crucial slave design invariants. The
presence of pipelining and burst transfer in the AMBA AHB
protocol gives rise to interesting corner cases, which are hard
to detect via informal reasoning. With the use of BFM model
checker the slave bus is verified and stimulated.
