Peoplesoft HRMS Consultant

• Responsible for the modification and implementation of PeopleSoft delivered Tax Updates into the Production system in support of ongoing tax and compliance issues.

• Responsible for making table structure changes for new tax requirements using DB2, Platinum and PeopleSoft Data Mover.

• Responsible for the modification of current COBOL and SQR programs to reflect new functionality delivered in the Tax Updates.

• Generated reports using SQR and tested Employee Data, Payroll summary information by employee & department etc.,
• Worked with test team to run queries against PeopleSoft database, check test results.
• Tested Interface programs to move data from the legacy system into PeopleSoft tables using SQR as the primary tool and generated status reports after performing validation checks
• Interacted with developers to resolve Bugs.

• Responsible for implementing delivered on-line changes in the form of new panels and PeopleCode. Tested required changes and verified that modifications were correct and compatible with the Production system

• Working with eBenefits for the administration and maintenance of benefits programs for the employees like Health, Insurance, savings, FSA, Dependents etc.

• Working with Maintain Security Menu to create User ID s and Assigning Roles to which the Permission Lists are tied.


• Used Workflow to automate the processes of notifying the Payroll Administrator about the new hires of employees by generating worklists and also send automated emails to the HR group about the new hires. To do so, I added a new step to generate worklist by writing peoplecode on the event. Then the security access was given at the Business Process level.

• Working with eCompensation for enabling the manager to view total compensation for the selected employee, Requesting/Approval/View Status for a Salary Change.


• Working with ePay providing online access for the employees to view transactions –like Direct Deposits, View Paycheck, Voluntary Deductions, W2- Reissue Request and W4 –Tax Information.

• Working with Application Engine to create different Sections, steps and Actions for the steps.


• Customized the Pay Sheet data Page to prevent employee assigned to an incorrect Company or Paygroup for Off cycle.

• Analyzed, designed, developed various SQR’s like Garnishment interface, Top ‘n’ Salaries, Leave of Absence Report, Head count Report, Salary Planning Report.


• Developed an SQR that reads data from PS_LEAVE_ACCRUALS and updates it to accommodate benefit levels in Vacation Benefit Plan.

• Worked with the Process Scheduler to run the Process.


• Developed an SQR to automate the enrollment process of new hires into the STD and LTD plan depending on the employee eBenefit program, employee type and job type.

• Created several end-user Public Queries for a particular pay period and Year to date deductions for the employees, Terminated employee details for a particular location.


• Helped the user to Run payroll processes & Custom Processes and troubleshoot the payroll Error Message, if any.

• Helped in Creating Parallel test plans and helped in conducting Parallel Testing and comparing the results.
